Drupal Developer Talks

I've talked about setting up Drupal Developer Talks in the past, now let's make it happen. The focus of these conversation will be in improving development in Drupal. No site building conversation allowed.

We have 2 decisions to make. One on how often and one for what date.

For frequrency

once a month
once every 2 months.

For When I prefer the first week of the month as I have other events on the 2nd and 3rd weeks. I do Prefer Tuesday's but Monday or Wednesday or Thursday would work.

Once a quarter we can have an even on Saturday to include out of town people. Perpahs some sort of code sprint.

Directions to Promethius

This month the Drupal Indy meetup will be moving back north where it's regular meetups originated, in the offices of Promethius Consulting. Promethius has a great meeting space and may become our regular meetup location once again. If you are planning on making it to the next meetup, here are some directions to the Promethius Consulting Office.

Back to the Library!

We will be returning to the IUPUI University Library this month, but please make note that the room is different this time. Due to the new semester, the Library's schedule of available rooms has change. We will now be meeting on TUESDAY, and the room we will meet in is UL 1126.

Previously we were in 1116, which was to the right of the main staircase when you enter the Library's main entrance. This time the room will be to the LEFT of the main staircase.

This Month's Meetup

This month's meetup will take place at the School of Science at IUPUI. This is the building that is between the parking lot and the University Library (LD) if you are looking at this map from our previous posts. So all of the parking information remains the same, but the location has changed due to the Library's early closing times.

Meetup at IUPUI University Library

There are a few changes in our meetup this month, but we think they are for the better! The biggest change is that instead of the 'Drupal Dinner' at Rockbottom, we are now doing an organized meetup at the University Library at IUPUI. The great thing about this is that we will have internet for everyone, projections for presentations, and plenty of room for many people to join us.

The Company Profile

If you have been checking out the site recently, you may be wondering how some companies get profiles and other only have text links. The initial idea behind the company profile was to promote companies that provide Drupal services. This would provide the local area with a list of companies that they can call on for help with their Drupal projects.
